Self-hosted ticketing

Self-hosted event ticketing, installed and running in days

Self-hosting usually means a weekend of dependency errors before you see a login screen. It does not here. You buy the license, and within 1–2 business days we install EventMS Pro on your server, point your domain at it, connect your payment keys, and hand you working admin credentials.

Why organizations choose to self-host ticketing

For most teams it comes down to one of three constraints, and often all three at once. Data residency requirements make a third-party SaaS platform hard to approve. Percentage-based fees become untenable at volume. And platform risk, where pricing or terms change with a quarter’s notice, is unacceptable for infrastructure the organization depends on.

  • Attendee and payment data stays inside your own infrastructure
  • Procurement approves a capital purchase more easily than an open-ended subscription
  • No dependency on a vendor’s pricing decisions or continued existence
  • Integrates with internal systems directly, at the database level

The stack, and what it needs

EventMS Pro is a Laravel API with a Nuxt frontend, backed by MySQL and Redis, with Pusher for realtime and Cloudinary for media. It runs comfortably on a standard VPS; no Kubernetes cluster and no specialized ops knowledge required. If you can run a typical Laravel application, you can run this.

  • Laravel 11 API, Nuxt 3 frontend, MySQL, Redis
  • Stripe and PayPal pre-integrated, awaiting your keys
  • Deploys to any standard VPS or your own hardware

Self-hosted does not have to mean self-supported

Installation is done for you, and 6 months of support and product updates are included in the license. You update on your own schedule rather than being moved onto someone else’s release train, and when you do want help, our team is the same team that built the platform.

Frequently asked questions

What server do I need?
A standard VPS is sufficient for most deployments. We will advise on sizing based on your expected ticket volume during installation, and we handle the setup itself.
Do I need a developer on staff?
No, not to run it. We install and configure everything, and the platform is administered through a web admin panel. A developer is only needed if you want source-level customizations, and our team can handle those instead.
Is EventMS Pro open source?
No. It is commercially licensed source you receive and deploy on your own infrastructure. You get the ownership and data control benefits of self-hosting, with a supported commercial product and installation included.
