Is this a SaaS subscription or a one-time purchase?
It is a one-time license. You pay once and own your deployment forever. There are no monthly fees, no per-organizer seat costs, and no revenue share taken from your ticket sales. This is the core reason buyers choose EventMS Pro over SaaS alternatives.
What exactly do I get when I buy?
You get the complete EventMS Pro platform installed on your own server, configured, and ready to go. The platform runs under your domain, your data stays on your infrastructure, and every ticket sale goes directly to your payment account. Your license includes 6 months of support and product updates.
How is this different from Eventbrite or other ticketing platforms?
With Eventbrite and similar SaaS platforms you are renting access and paying a cut of every ticket sold. With EventMS Pro you license a self-hosted platform that runs on your server. You keep 100% of your revenue (minus your own payment processor fees), you own your audience data, and you are not subject to another company changing its pricing or terms.
Do I get the source code?
You receive a licensed production build under a perpetual commercial license. Your deployment keeps working indefinitely, with no renewals required. The build is licensed rather than handed over as raw source to protect our intellectual property while giving you permanent usage rights: you control your deployment, your database, and your revenue, and you remain eligible for official updates and support. Customizations are handled by our team.
Will my software stop working if I don't renew support?
No. Nothing stops working. Your license is perpetual: the platform keeps running on your server indefinitely whether or not you ever buy support again. Support and future development are optional services, not a requirement to keep operating.
What exactly is included in my 6 months of support, and what costs extra?
Included: installation, initial deployment, bug fixes, deployment assistance, and product questions. Billable separately: new features, custom integrations, UI/UX modifications, third-party integrations, and infrastructure changes such as server migrations or PHP/OS upgrades. We scope and quote those individually so there are no surprises on either side.
Is hosting really included?
Yes. Hosting, SSL, deployment, and server maintenance are included at no extra cost as part of your license. You can migrate to your own infrastructure later if you prefer; we'll help with that transition.
What do I need to run it?
A VPS or dedicated server with PHP 8.2+, MySQL 8, Redis, and Node 20. A $20 to $40/month server handles substantial traffic. You will also need free-tier accounts for Stripe and/or PayPal (payments), Pusher (real-time), and Cloudinary (media). We configure all of this during installation as part of the included hosting.
What if I need custom features?
Our team builds them. Customization requests are scoped and quoted individually. You get changes made by the people who know the codebase best, without the risk of breaking your upgrade path.
What are the license terms? Can I use it on multiple domains, resell it, or white-label it?
One license covers one production deployment for your event business, on your own domain. You may customize and brand it as your own — remove our branding, style it to match your company, and operate it under your name. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or offer the platform itself as a white-label product to third parties; the license is for operating your own event ticketing or marketplace business, not for reselling the software. If you need multiple domains or deployments, contact us about additional licenses.
Why are there no annual license fees?
Because EventMS Pro is sold under a perpetual commercial license. Once purchased, the software remains fully functional indefinitely. Support and custom development are optional services you can buy if and when you need them — they are not requirements for using the software.
What is the refund policy?
